Natural wonders in the Peloponnese. Patras.

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery of the Peloponnese! Your journey will start with a unique experience as you travel by toothed train from the seaside town of Diakopto up into the mountains, winding your way through a UNESCO-protected national park. You'll marvel at the mountain wildlife, crystal-clear rivers and spectacular gorges until you reach the town of Kalavryta, 750 metres above sea level, the winter capital of the Peloponnese and the cultural centre of the Aroania Mountains, where you'll have free time to wander around. One of the highlights of the trip is the Cave of the Lakes, a unique natural and cultural monument with thirteen terraced lakes on different levels (ticket price: €9 for adults, €4.5 for children).

We take a bus back down from the mountains and stop at the Mega Spileo Monastery (ticket price for adults 3€), a monastery founded in 362. It is let into a cave and protects a special icon. Nature, grandeur and history.

Stop in Patras. We'll stop in Patras at the Cathedral of St Andrew, the largest church in Greece. Free time in Patras.

If your hotel between Diakopto and Patras, your journey will end when you descend the mountain. Alternatively, you can go to Patras together and then return on your own by intercity bus, which runs every hour from Patras, ticket price €2-3.

Important note: The tour will only take place if at least 6 people book it.
